How to clean a cooker or oven like a professional
These products are a must for hotels, restaurants fast food take away or busy catering kitchens.
Busy restaurant kitchens need to use the best of kitchen cleaning products regularly.
Pizza oven. burnt on grease on glass door. Clean instantly with a 1:10 solution of Catersan in a sprayer. While oven is hot, open door and spray onto glass. Lightly agitate with a green scourer and grease is easily removed with a clean cloth or paper wiper.
Oven Cleaning. Cleaning procedure depends on how heavily soiled the oven is.
Oven gel is could be expensive if used all over the oven. Tip to reduce amount of gel required. Wear appropriate protective clothing.
While the oven is still warm, wash the oven down first with a 1:10 solution of CATERSAN, using it as a hot oven wash. Start at the bottom working upwards finishing with the oven roof from back to front, to avoid drips falling onto arms. This usually removes most of the grease. wipe down with a cloth or paper wipers.
If there are stubborn spots of burnt on food or carbon, then reheat oven to just under 100 C. Paint on CARBON OFF, professional Oven cleaning gel, working in same order as before, and leave on for 20 minutes. use a scraper to check that all carbon is dissolved, then wipe away with cloth, then rinse oven with clean water.
It is better to use the above oven cleaning procedure regularly to avoid burnt on deposits.
For oven tray, racks and shelves, soak in sink with just enough boiling water to cover. Add some Catersan concentrate and allow to soak until water is cool, around an hour. Wearing gloves, wipe with green scourer.
